Instructions:
For 20 minutes, work through the instructions for project 1 in your groups. Construct a practice map of the first half of Part I of Good Morning, Midnight. You can choose a part to focus on. If this part of the novel includes your segment for project 1, you can begin your project.
Consider such aspects as the text’s references and how to use Google’s annotations to demonstrate the relationship between geography and moments in the novel.
Designate one member of your group as the map specialist, one as internet researcher, and one as the Rhys scholar. (If you have four group members, two people will share a job.) Work together to address how best to combine these resources visually. You can combine parts of maps in a Power Point, Prezi, or Word file. Save your map file on Google Maps, but do not make it available to the public. You can share it with each other and the instructor.
